the objective of bo.nez.one is to document the work of @mzxio @themsbones in an accessible archive outside of any proprietary walled gardens. we always imagined it as a rich garden to get lost in. we hope it brings you inspiration.
this site will not be built in a way that can be watched on social media or in a feed reader. we are adding projects as we go through older and newer files to look for projects suitable for sharing. whenever possible, the historical posts will be backdated to around 11:59pm on the day that the relevant files were last edited. some chronologies will be unstable as we add to and correct the archaeological record. we’ve forgotten a lot.
from 2015-2023 we made a tremendous amount of artwork posted to twitter and nowhere else. other networks covered earlier days going back all the way to 2003. most all gone now, lost to iced-over cloud servers and closed accounts. much deserves to be lost, some deserves to be saved. we won’t try too hard to make that determination though. if a project seemed fun or valuable to share, we will try to figure out a way to share it.
as the archives fill out, new stuff will come in. we have other projects warm on the desktop even now. so maybe there will be something to watch for on the feeds, or maybe if you delve deep today and return in some time you’ll find more things in-between.
